Revision of Service and Conservancy Charges!!!

From 1 April 2010, the xxxx Town council will be

revising the Service and Conservancy Charges (S&CC)

for the Flats,shops.offices and market/hawker stall!!

Reason given:

The demands of the cleaning and resfuse removal contractors

have changed, and so too their service costs, because

tehy have to meet specific performance standards,

they have to pay higer wages for better trained Singapore workers?

1.50 increase for 2 room flats

2..50 increase for 3 room flats

3.50 for 4 room flats

$4.50 for 5 room flats !!!

lucky our  landed properties got no increment, hmmm..the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer...must go open a cleaner company.

Contract cleaners complain their bosses just deducted their pay.   Earning below $500 now.   Town Council is not being honest.

I like to know, exactly how they derive at the justification to hike.

We can trust all we want.

In a 1st world, we need to know Exactly how they derive this figure.

How can we know absolutely clearly that indeed the figures derived are accurate?

How much are you paying now? I live in a PRC condo and this year my condo mgt propose to raise the mgt fee for the estate and the reason was property price has increase and the value of our house is now higher. So..they want to raise the fee.

My Chinese neigbours decided to gather an Yuanxiao celebration outside the mgt office with fire crackers and the mgt office was burned to the ground.

This morning, we receive a notice from the communist party of the estate who apologize for the mistake and inconvenience of wrongful act of giving notice for the mgt fee increase.

so, maybe we can make use of the coming ching ming to burn joss sticks to burn down town councils?

The government thinks that they are selling a product or offering a service when they should be doing nation governance and not corporate governance. Why revise the service and conservancy charges when the cheap foreigners import from their pro-foreign workers' policy are suppose to work as what they proclaimed.

Now higher foreign talent levy increase. So you have to pay more lor.. 

So it actually means. You are affected by foreign talent levy! Haha...

As if the recession is completely over, we get all these increases.    Since news of them losing billions there has been "outburst" of increases.       Look real bad, they need more money to make up for their losses.

Hey, very is that 2, 3 4 and 5 room share the same hdb flats, why different amount? 2345 has common corridor, common lifts, same same, why the amount different?

After so many months of hard saving, I have to return to them liao.

Of course. Any foreigner coming to Singapore is considered a talent. They have skills that Singaporeans do not possess. The foreign levy applies to all low skilled workers btw.

Impossible. We do not have 3 million families in Singapore lah.
And also, there are about 20% leaving in condos and private land....
which means about 1.2 million live in condos....and private land....

That makes it only 4.8 million if there are 6 million people....
Out of the 4.8 million people, on average, one house has got about 4 people...

That makes it only 1.2 million families.... X 3 = 3.6 million per month only.

The fact that they go ahead with this HIKE indicates to me that they are Confident that singaporeans will Accept. Imagine, despite the fact that election is around the corner, the just send you a note about the hike and know that it WILL BE IMPLEMENTED.

Hum..so we go back to historic time that trace the gene of mankind to the origin of Africa. Indian and Banga travel southward to South East Asia. So history repeat itself and in no time Singapore will be back to its original form.
