    • If this is right, then Malaysia belongs to Indonesia through racial identity and Malaysia belongs to China through power because they were a vassal state of China.

Sounds like a joke? Then they should shut up and move more constructively forward. Wake up from you dumb idealogy Malaysia.

    • no more talking cock already

''The vital issue is not how much we pay, but how any price revision is decided upon,'' he stressed.

While Malaysia wants Singapore to pay more, the price ''cannot be revised at the will and dictate of Malaysia''.

This is made crystal clear in the two water agreements Singapore signed with Malaysia in 1961 and 1962, and they are enshrined in the Separation Agreement and registered at the United Nations.

''They are fundamental to our very existence as an independent nation. Neither Singapore nor Malaysia can unilaterally change them. This is the root of the dispute,'' said Prof Jayakumar.

''Any breach of the water agreements must call into question the Separation Agreement and can undermine our very existence.''

    • Some Malaysians subscribe to the view that Singapore will sooner or later have to rejoin Malaysia, because we (get this Rolling Eyes ) have no natural resources ( Exclamation ) and have a smaller population than them. Laughing

Such a stupid theory will have any self-respecting JC econs student rolling on the floor dying of laughter. And yet they seem to really believe it. Malaysia's recent spate of little economic triumphs over Singapore seem to have made some of them impudent.

Oh, BTW, I did try to enlighten these fools with a few simple econs concepts, but it took me a few tries before I realised that dogs had better comprehending power then them, so I gave up.

no more joke, there's an open mob now. s'pore is sending a strong message to kl. the last time such things happen was more than ten years ago when m'sia held an 'invasion' exercise with indonesia in johore on 9 aug. only indonesia informed s'pore thru diplomatic channels while m'sia kept quiet. so s'pore did an open mob on national day's eve and amx-13s were taken out of storage for the mob and press was there for coverage.

    • If the malaysians and indonesians want to invade Singapore together, I believe that was the exact "possibility" that the SAF has been preparing for. Defending against a joint force like that, that can come from land air and sea. Then again, looks like the Indonesian Navy doesn't have the ability to mount such a amphibious landing. In the end, everything still has to come from peninsular malaysia, and at most, harrassment of our seas and attempts of infilttration through our waters.

In the end, its just down to divide and conquer. Isolation of C3I, naval, land and air forces, and preventing them to work cohesively as an army. Thats how wars are fought these days.... oh other than human bombs that is.

    • Wat is important now is that , the govt is showing and giving singaporeans some confidence on ourselve to defend our consitution and intergrity of land.
Our minister of Foreign affairs is reasoning out to make known to singaporeans that we are on the right of way , while the Moberlisation is called up to ensure that we are prepared ......

Malaysia on their hand is playing wif their words and their press to munipulate the feelings of the malaysians. Actually both govts are doing the same things wif their press . The differences is that one boast wif gold and another boast gold without one.

If the need arises , we will jolly well fight hard. We will get a bloody nose while we vow to cripple the enemy. We will sent our enemy to the eternal fire which will nv allow them to rise up again. Malaysia better know it well.
