Aiyoh, a 20mm airburst granade has already been around for almost ten years, now you get excited about a 40mm?  Got more outdated one or not?

SAR 21 is first  existing rifle adapted with a airburst GL.pl dunt quote me irrelevant data.

XM 25, a stand alone GL only,is still undertest and evaluation, still in initial production. NOT volume production.

MK 47 creSw serve Airburst GL. what is the status? Under T n E? Volume production. SG crew serve airburst GL was launcher well over 10 years ago!

Well, whether we are first or not doesn’t matter. The troops are going to hate it. Note extremely unbalanced front heavy config. After an hour on foot patrol, you will want to return this.

Even the M320L was found to be too heavy tote unded barrel.

Unless it’s simply timed detonation, it’s not going to happen. You can high tech a Terrax but there is a serious limit to how much stuff you can hang off an infantryman. RF fusing module on the front of my rifle? Want me to shoot dirt is it?

Besides, we’re definately NOT the 1st with an airburst, the idea has been around for such a long time that lots of other people have stuff that is similar, too obvious a design path. The US one was a Mk285? Almost 10 years old, not to mention the simple timed fuse rounds.

Actually, the MK285 has been around for a while, and the new generation of Airburst from the same company is ready, based on RF and programmable from any AGL's out there.

My favourite is still the M16GL
