      Isit true that u have to wear ur jatukam outside instead of wearing inside?

      Not true.
      The reason why thai wear amulets outside is to prevent sweat from getting into their amulets.
      Morever, with >90% population of thai are buddhists, it is normal for them to wear their amulets outside and they don't feel strange.
      However, imagine that you are in SG and you wear your JTK on the outside and walk along Orchard, what will people think of you?

      I also would like to share some of my collection of Jatukam, which I have been collect them with my southern partner since yr. 2000. And recently we have two outlets located in Bangkok. One's on Silom Road and the other on Rama III Road.

      there was this article in the paper today....

      there r some wat in thailand ....borrowing money jus to make Jatukam amulets, but becos of the over supply of tis amulets in the market, alot of amulet couldnt be sold n thus the temples landed up in debts........

      hi.... just came back from my shop.

      Upon my knowledge, there are many wats here in thailand having this problem as you mentioned because of "ME TOO". It was nearly thousand Jatukam models have been launched during this year.

      Fortunately, my partner and I could not afford to buy the new models which had introduced during year 2007 due to over price for booking, quality of rushing, and process of chanting etc.
