    • So now SMRT buses decide to join SBST/TT/GA in crushing DDs into taxi stand.

What is LTA doing ? Still refuse to do something until maybe some one got seriously injured ?

Yeah, saw someone was directing the traffic.

I wonder how that person know that there is an accident there?

    • Parts pulled from Japan bullet trains over crack fears

      https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asiapacific/parts-pulled-from-japan-bullet-trains-over-crack-fears-10000336

The Japanese company behind the country's iconic bullet trains said Wednesday (Feb 28) it had supplied nearly 150 faulty wheel parts that could crack and potentially cause a derailment.
Kawasaki Heavy Industries launched an investigation after a crack was found in its parts under one carriage of a "Shinkansen" in December.
Kawasaki found that the likely cause of the crack was that steel frames connecting the wheels to the chassis were thinner than regulations stipulate.

    • Japan's manufacturing industry has a lot of scandals, such as counterfeit data, etc. As consumer, I feel worried about that.

    • But Japan provides us train components and cars, the accidents only happen in SMRT. But the basic reason may be from the components.

    • That's horrible. Japan Shinkansen is still trustworthy? Now Japan is bidding for the high-speed railway project between Singapore and malaysia. If the company with such quality win the bid, the consequences could be disastrous. I deeply concerned about that.
