    • I think it's really time for 291 to cut some buses. With 18 covering the east loop and 46/298 covering the west loop (to some extent), there's really no need for 291 to keep so many buses with frequent bunching.

      Peak hour yes.. sometimes can be full for SDs..there is also decent demand during peak from/to North 5.. but off peak demand is terrible..other than students, most of the time bus running with less than 10 pax.. last week even saw a 979M DD empty when entering KJE (also coz there was a DD 979 just 2 mins before) and another 979M DD empty when it turns into North 6...

    • 979M frequency is 30 minutes. Hence, it makes sense to have DDs because if someone is not able to board bus, they have to wait another 30 minutes, which is brutal.

      After handover will likely be B9TL's ... dun think Seletar will be given the lion's share of the remaining unassigned A95's.

      Looking at the pattern 5830-5911 might be for Seletar,Bndep & Hgdep.5912-5921 should be for SMRT.LTA will definitely lease to SBST.The upcoming Bt Merah,Hougang-Sengkang all will definitely goes to SBST.Theyre good mah,They helped LTA to cut cost.They also operate 2 rail and 2 lrt lines mah.SMRT lease them Citaro and B9TL is more than enough.TTS & GAS should say goodbye after their 5 years contract expired.

      I highly doubt a foreign company will get Bt Merah with the two cross border svc.LTA might as well awarded to TTS or GAS since they already operate more than a year here.

    • 979M during off peak is actually ferrying seats, if not is ppl boarding from last stop before KJE

      That’s explain why the low frequency 

    • Service 3 full SDs on Saturdays from 2 DD for PM shift...

      Sundays and PHs still got 2 AM & 4 PM DDs.

    • The planners is either blind or too ignorant..when Saturdays loadings is higher that Sundays

      Weekdays:4AM/5PM & 3 split DDs>7/8 DDs.

      Saturdays:NIL😤

      Sundays/PHs:2AM/3PM & 1 TQ DDs>3/4 DDs.

      However, 298 is at concourse int where people lazy to walk there and 46 peak hr freq is quite bad. Tamp int to its looping point there demand is very high usually full to the max and always got snaking queue. even though 298 is being intro, 69,291 and 293 demand quite high and still very full, 298 freq now is about 10 -12 mins per bus. whereas 291 and 293 freq is about 2 -5 mins which ppl prefer the most. 18 freq also around 10 mins per bus.

    • I have been noticing that 854 fleet on Sundays and PH had been getting like only 1-2 DDs lately with many single decks replacing them. Used to have at least 4-5 full day DDs on Sunday without fail.
