      Comments:

      • - 4 has the heaviest loading, most likely boarded at Tampines Int
      • - Serious bunching issues on 293
      • - 18 loading for Tampines St 32/33/34 hasn't caught up, or isn't significant
      • - Low loadings for 19 & 37 (due to PM peak; opposite side has heavy loading)
      • - Moderate loadings for 21 & 38

      Corporation Dr -- 32 (-6/8), 40 (-2/10)

Corporation Rd -- 74 (0/34) ... interesting to see such high loading at one stop before Lakeside MRT.

      Lakeside MRT -- 59 (-41/26)

      JW St 51 -- 74 (0/15), 75 (-2/3)

      Jurong West Ave 1 -- 60 (-18/3)... I alighted here.

** Good demand between Lakeside and JW St 42... interesting that many people choose to board at st 51 though considerable number also board at Lakeside MRT

** Loading is decent between Jurong East and Taman Jurong

** DDs seem to be doing a decent job on this service!

Perhaps people board at St 51 so that they can take 335 if it comes first?

147 was originally single decker bus fleet until 1984. Double deckers were slowly introduced. With the absorbing of bus service 148, 83 and 101 into route 147, it became 80% double decker fleet. With another absorbing of bus service 81 & 103 (Serangoon-New Bridge Road) after NEL opening, 147 is full fleet DD.

I take first bus and train.

      5:15am bus, 5:30am train.

      You can try it yourself.

Earliest arrival at Sengkang MRT Station is 6:31am.

Via bus, EWL, CCL and NEL.

      At normal walking pace.

(first connecting train is timed to allow about 5-10mins transfer anyway, so no point running.)

Loading on Svc 25 (SBS7478K, DD)

      Hougang Ave 2 - 39 (14/0) 0832H

      Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 - 53 (6/-3), 56 (15/-13), 51 (6/-11), 49 (0/-2), 56 (8/-1), 59 (7/-4), 63 (4/0), 25 (0/-38)

      Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 - 0 (NA/-25) (I alighted here) 0850H

      Highest Loading: 63

      Remarks:

      - Bus was late in headway by 3.5 mins

      - Svc 25 should have an almost full fleet DDs especially during peak hours as both directions will be equally crowded towards various destinations along its routing (towards AMK, Kaki Bukit/Ubi Industrial Estate and Eunos Stn)

    • Happened to observe 60 yesterday during peak hours...interestingly the load is spread out among all areas. Some start from Bedok, some from Eunos and others from Bedok North. Load seems lighter at times but demandwise remains the same

      Yuan Ching Rd -- 30 (-5/4), 27 (-6/3)

      Tah Ching Rd -- 30 (-1/4)

Svc 49 is like a feeder route. Taman Jurong residents benefits a lot from this svc whether to commute to Lakeside MRT / JW Ave 1 / Jurong East Central. I think svc 98 comes after ur bus at Corporation Rd which explains the heavy loading to Lakeside MRT. I'm interested to see the loading back to JE though.

    • Loading level of Svc 54 (SD) from New Bridge Rd Ter  @ 4:13pm (15/11/17 Wednesday) Off Peak, Bus in front = 14min, Bus behind = 15min

      Eu Tong Sen St -- 1 (0/1), 2(0/1), 8(0/6),

Hoot Kiam Rd -- No pax activity

Paterson Hill -- No pax activity

      Scott's Rd -- 17(-6/4), 15(-2/0),

                         17(-3/5) --> Newton MRT

      Newton Rd -- 15(-2/0), 12(-3/0)

      Thomson Rd -- 18(missed this), 19(0/1), 21(0/2), 20(-2/1), 22(0/2), 23(0/1)

      Bishan Rd -- 8(-23/2) --> Bishan MRT

      Bishan St 11 -- 10(-2/4), 8(-2/0)

      Bishan St 13 -- 14(-6/12), 20(-1/7)

      Bishan Int -- 0(-20/0)

*Highest loading occured at Bishan St 22 twds Bishan MRT, followed by highest passenger alighting activity at Bishan MRT

*Demand is well spread thorughout the route in this off peak hour, mainly shuttling commuters from River Valley to Orchard, Thomson-Marymount to Bishan North Shopping Mall and serve as a feeder for Bishan residents to Bishan MRT.

*I'm surprised at the loading at Bishan St 13 to Bishan Central, I thought residents along that area would walk to MRT due to its short distance, maybe I'm not too familiar with the area.

How about the other direction? What's the loading like? Does anyone knows?

      Highest Loading: 33

      Remarks:

      - Demand is generally okay till Ang Mo Kio Stn onwards

      - This Svc can still rely on more SDs than DDs (similar to that of 165)
