    • Possible future modifications to 807 & 860.

      807

      • Yishun Int
      • Yishun Ave 9
      • Yishun Ave 6
      • Yishun St 31
      • Yishun Ring Rd
      • (continue along current route & back)
      •

      860

      • Yishun Int
      • Yishun Ring Rd
      • Yishun St 31
      • Yishun Ave 6
      • Yishun St 42*
      • Yishun Ave 6
      • Yishun Ave 11
      • Yishun Ring Rd
      • (continue along current route & back)

This would reduce duplication between the services and still ensure that areas with new BTOs are adequately served. Both services still partially serve Khatib MRT station.

      803 to be withdrawn.

    • Service 807G/W:

      Yishun Temp Int

      (Current route to Khatib MRT)

      Yishun Ring Rd

      Yishun St 71

      Yishun Ave 3

      Sembawang Rd

      Yishun Ave 5

      Yishun Temp Int

      - Provides St 71 / Sembawang Rd with faster connection to Yishun MRT than 800

      - Provides Yishun Ring Rd (west) with possibly faster connection to Yishun MRT than 812

      - Allows better utilization of resourses, as more buses can be deployed to the direction from/to Yishun Ring Rd (east) to/from Khatib MRT in AM/PM peak

      Service 860 amendment:

      Yishun Temp Int

      Yishun Ave 9

      Yishun Ring Rd

      Yishun St 31

      Yishun Ave 6

      Yishun Ave 1

      Yishun St 41

      Yishun Ring Rd

      (Current route to YCK)

      - Provides Ave 6 and St 41 with connection to Khatib MRT

      - Supplements 803, 804 and 806

    • I notice in London, there are train services that only run one train everyday, and these are services that have declined ridership over time but continue to run just to maintain the connection.

Just wondering if we could do the same here, on bus routes that are no longer in operation. We could have one trip in the morning and one trip at night to provide the connection that is nolonger required today.

Why bother reviving dead bus routes?

If there is really demand, have a proper bus service introduced.

If you're talking about premium services that only run twice a day, go suggest to the private bus operators.

Not all past services were withdrawn because of low demand... Many were due to duplication with MRT (even when they had sufficient demand), mergers/amendments with other services that are later proven to be unwise or no longer effective today, or even for the purpose of forcing people to switch to other underutilized bus svcs/MRT lines.

And note that loading patterns / route planning decades ago may not be the same as today, considering new MRT lines, increase in population (hence limitation of MRT's capacity) and especially new estates/flats. So some services with low demand in the past may do pretty well today.

14 and 51 are classic examples of merged entities that ended up being too long for their own good.

    • Don't know that if service 44 from changi business terminal ,eunos  saw that the sbstransit are doing on test  bus service route  don't think that  will  be

      From  changi business terminal

Somapah rd , upper changi rd east  to upper changi rd link,  upper changi rd,  bedok North ave 4, bedok North rd, kaki bukit RD 5  new bus stop  kaki bukit AVE 6, kaki bukit RD 4 , kaki bukit AVE 3/ rd 3,  kaki bukit AVE 2 , eunos links  jalan eunos  eunos crescent  to eunos ave 5 eunos rd 2 to eunos interchange

Don't think that will bother  to get the area  and  saw that the  sbstransit area of the training route from the above route

    • Consider ... would it make much sense for services 48 and 55 to swap termini, such that 48 end up at UEC and 55 at BNDEP?

The route only serves two MRT stations, Eunos and Bedok North. So there will be potential strains and some inconveniences if the stations are not direct. Also unlikely to see much demand after BN Ave 4 (SUTD students already have 5 and DTL at their doorstep)

55 is under Serangoon-Eunos package,What if other operators win that package beside SBST and Bndep still under SBST?

    • LTA should extend 258 from Boon Lay. Way back DDs go all the way empty until hits JW St 81/82. If extended to Jurong East (via svc 178 route), it will provide good connection to IBP, AYE and Taman Jurong.

178 can be made to terminate at Jurong East or Bukit Batok instead.

I think the purpose of 25x series is to serve within Jurong Industrial estates
