Hi mr carbikebus, not too correct. Service 85 does not go Punggol field. From Punggol field to int, service 3 and 83 have to go by field/east/central then reach int. 3/83 do not really compete with 381 for passengers because 381 needs to be in opposite direction of Punggol field (across the road) to edgefield plains to Punggol central to mrt.

381 route is well thought of when planned. Loops in such a way that it does not directly affect 3/83 too much. Now people no need to even cross the road. We can really term 381 as a 'lazy' bus for residents. Don't undermine the power of even crossing the road or crossing overhead bridge (via LRT platform). Many people are lazy to do that. 381 pampers straight down to the wire. Thus it is going to be popular. Cheers.

    • Question: Are the two bus stops served by 381 along Punggol Central incapable for double-deck use? Since the shelters are only 3.7m high

    • Route extensions for Services 25, 55 and 155

The routes of Services 25, 55 and 155 will be extended from Sunday, 9 April 2017 to enhance connectivity for commuters.

      Service 25
The route of Service 25 will be extended to terminate at Upper East Coast Bus Terminal instead of Bedok Bus Interchange. With the extension, it will ply between Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange and Upper East Coast Bus Terminal and enhance connectivity for commuters in the Bedok South area to Bedok Town Centre, as well as Eunos and Hougang. The extended route will ply New Upper Changi Road, Bedok South Avenue 3 and Upper East Coast Road.

Service 25 will operate from Upper East Coast Bus Terminal from 5.30am to 11.30pm daily. In addition, the first trip towards Ang Mo Kio from Bedok Station (Exit A) along New Upper Changi Road will start at 5.15am from Mondays to Saturdays and at 5.30am on Sundays and Public Holidays. The operating hours from Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange remain unchanged.

      Service 55
Similarly, the route of Service 55 will be extended to terminate at Upper East Coast Bus Terminal. Currently, it loops at Siglap Road for its return journey to Bishan Bus Interchange. The extension will enhance connectivity for existing and upcoming developments in the Bayshore area with Eunos and Hougang. With the extension, it will ply Marine Parade Road, Bedok South Avenue 1 and Upper East Coast Road. It will, however, skip the bus stop opposite Mandarin Gardens (93199) along Siglap Road.

Service 55 will operate from Bishan Bus Interchange from 5.30am to 11.45pm from Mondays to Saturdays and from 5.45am to 11.45pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. From Upper East Coast Bus Terminal, it will operate from 5.20am to 11.40pm from Mondays to Saturdays and from 5.30am to 11.40pm on Sundays and Public Holidays.

      Service 155
The route of Service 155 will be extended to terminate at Bedok Bus Interchange. Currently, it commences its trip at Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and loops at Siglap Road for its return journey. The extension will enhance connectivity between Bedok and Telok Kurau and serve amenities such as the Parkway East Hospital and the new [email protected] Integrated Complex en-route. With the extended route, it will ply Marine Parade Road, Bedok South Avenue 1, New Upper Changi Road, Bedok North Avenue 3 and Bedok North Street 1, and skip the bus stop opposite Mandarin Gardens (93199) along Siglap Road.

Service 155 will operate daily from 6.00am to midnight from Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and from 5.40am to 11.30pm from Bedok Bus Interchange.

Wa, extension to 25 indeed came true! Compliments 229 from New Upper Changi Road to Bedok South Ave 3 / UEC area especially for off peak hours due to 15mins frequency.

Not really sure about the need to extend 55 though, there is 13 that is duplicative.

Not only 13, but also 43 along that stretch also...

      Upper East Coast Road: 13, 25, 43, 45, 55, 506, 853C

But why Svc 155 was extended to Bedok ah... So many buses passing by or terminate from Toa Payoh... 26 & 155, 31... Hmmmm

Could probably get rid of some MP services soon, way too much duplication already.

In particular 47 could merge with either 55 or 135.
