this is curiosity on my part . There are so many short forms for long words i realised in this forum... words like ... SC,VC,SSGT,CID,PAC.. bla bla bla... wonder any place where you could get a glossary of all these short terms or not...

SSGT = Staff Sergant

CID = Criminal Investigation Department

VC is probably voluntary constabulary

VC i think is volunteer constable

SGT = Sergant

SSSGT = Senior Staff Sergant

Cpl = Coporal

SI = Staion Inspector
