if i'm not wrong plate starting with 'G' cannot go m'sia
im not sure its allowed or not but i did actually saw one pick up with G registration using the second link back to singapore when i was on the way back from Genting in Jan 08..

i know that PA can and they must reg with malaysia govt..
you must have business dealings in malaysia that requires you to drive into malaysia with that van in order to do so... and that means applying for some documentations via malaysian side.
ive called LTA and they confirmed that "G" plates can go into malaysia but have to call malaysia high commission to comfirm.
called today but was asked to call malaysia's Road Transport Department (JPJ)..
ive emailed them and awaiting their reply..
so just a little info if you guys were to drive into m'sia with 'G' plates too..
