Hi,
Whenever my wipers swept, there is a rubber squeeky sound.
Apart from the wiper itself, what might be the cause and what will be the solution? Anyone know?
time to change the rubber on the wiper blades..
I changed a few months back. = (
Nothing wrong with that. There's two possibility:
1) Your just changed your wiper, hence it's effective. Therefore gave off that noise.
2) You accidentally got wax onto either the windscreen or the wiper's rubber strip itself.
clean the rubber part of the wiper? see if it helps.
you can change the wiper, not the rubber...... cuz sometimes it will affect.... normally is rubber problem la... u try spray water and do testing. Troubleshooting ;D

did you park under direct sunlight for long period of time?
get better wipers.... not those $10-15 ones. Borschs are good
Thanks for all the replies.
Mine is a PI car so getting a new set of wipers is tough as there is no authorised dealers doing it.
All trials & errors were done, yet same problem arise. Does sending it to the Car Waxing company helps if the problem is with the windscreen?
Just get a new set of wipers. Don't need go to dealer fix one. Very easy to fix, just DIY. You can get wipers from shops like Homefix... Even those big NTUC like the one in AMK also got sell. Buy the correct size one though as there are different sizes.

Wiper blades are not car-specific, ie the wiper is not specially or specifically designed for that car only. Wiper blades are categorised by their length, as long as you got the length, you can buy the rubber blades at most accesories shops and replace them yourself.
Sending the car waxing will not make any difference because... they will not wax the windscreen anyway. It's much cheaper attempting to clean your windscreen yourself using a suitable glass cleaner.
