      i saw a latest generation nissan fuga with plate number 8808 (or was it 8088) coming out of tan chong yesterday.

      does it mean anything?

      If it's not a trade plate (blue backing), then it's probably an in-house demo car. The plate with 8808 probably means it's registered as tan chong's car. I know Borneo has a few private '8888's or similar plates on their Lexus cars for demo/marketing/promotional use.

      not a trade plate.

      actually by asking "does it mean anything?", i was trying to find out if anyone has news that tan chong is officially launching it.
