check ur car's manual. it should state the minimal fuel grade.
most bread and butter cars sold in sg can use 92 without much problems. if u can afford it, try a few tanks continuously of 92, 95 and 98, to see how the car responds to it, as well as which octane gives the best FC for the car. alternatively u could also calculate using the distance/dollar way.

I would suggest you use 95, instead of 92.. You may not feel the engine knocking.. But new cars generally work at optimum from Octane 95 onwards..
Don't be too penny-wise (price difference not big anyway).
Love your car, give it the correct fuel =)
Btw, Octane 92 is for COE cars (10 years and above, and applies to starlet, civic esi etc).. Any car which isnt, pls don't use 92.
