If you do not wish that peoples' faces appear in the pic, you could edit the pic with simple softwares like microsoft paint and crop off their faces or blur them using other softwares

@Oceane: What time do you wake up everyday? Those trains are pretty early. Or you took them in the afternoon?

Im unsure of 001/002's status but so far there shouldnt be other refurbished ones yet but more and more would be refurbished i suppose

its refurbished, not in service, probably used to experiment other new stuff like the in-train dynamic route map...

oh and by the way, is SMRT scrapping its Visual Passenger Information System onboard trains?

cos i boarded 345/346 and it didnt have the VPIS displays... i hope they dont...

I am not sure if I remembered this correctly... All LCD TV has been removed from 347/348 but not sure about VPIS though.

dont know if you all already know but 001/002 was running on NSL, arriving at Khatib Station at 8am today.

005/006 is also running very frequently on NSL weekday peaks.

are any of them running non-peak?

i still havent taken it!!! darn.. feeling pain with adult fare...

001/002 train is on which Northbound or Southbound? There actually are 2 refurbished train running on NSL during morning peak yesterday.

I saw the refurbished train heading for Yishun arrived at AMK station at 7.45am. I missed it when I rushed running up to catch this train but it just left the station. Sorry I could not catch the glance of the car number. Then I took my next train. When my train was at Yishun station, I saw refurbished train on Southbound which came all the way from Jurong East. But did not glance the car number. Then after my train left Yishun station, I saw another refurbished train which I missed and terminated at Yishun, parked on middle track while waiting to get on Southbound track. I guess that refurbished train which I missed must be 001/002.

NORTHBOUND. Yesterday was the second time I saw two refurbished trains on the NSL. For both times it could be 001/002 and 005/006 or is 089/090 in the picture.

Train 80 is also refurbished...

This train is going towards Jurong East at around 6.50am... quite packed and very bright.

To date there are 5 refurbished train which have entered into service.

I only took 005/006 once last month. Have not catch any train for second time since I missed 001/002 train heading for Yishun. Arragh!

I dint even get to see the real train itself yet SMRT should deploy a few of them on EWL!

The NSL this morning was like full of C751B and C151 refurbished...Saw 083/084 for the first time...barely seen a siemens or C151 old.

Wonder when I will catch 089/090 etc.

Just took 347/348 train on NSL today. Confirmed it got LCD TV display. But VPIS was removed from this train already. I think it should be 34x/34x train which it has LCD TV removed but I really can't remember the exact train number. I will check this out next time if I got the chance to catch the train without LCD TV display.

Took 083/084 train which was running on Southbound from AMK station in the evening yesterday. This was my second time taking refurbished train.

Updates, Yesterday i saw refurbished train 023/024 at AMK station middle platform, is on test train.

I've caught it the second time, this time train number 080.

The previous I took was 083. I should aim for a lower number.

This morning, there are 3 refurbished trains running on NSL today. They are

I boarded 005/006 train heading to Pasir Ris from AMK MRT station at 7.55am.

Just before 005/006 train was approaching AMK station from Bishan depot when it was on middle track before AMK station, the front headlight use very high beam that it almost dizzed my eye.

When my train was at Yishun MRT station at 8.05am, 001/002 train just came onto Southbound track at Yishun station to head for Marina Bay after it has terminated at middle track after Yishun station.

At 8.15am, 083/084 train heading for Marina Bay was approaching Sembawang station.

So this is my third time boarding refurbished train today.

But I still did not have the chance to board the train with lowest car number like 001/002.

Well, I hope I will catch 001/002 train one day.

I think you can catch 005/006 train on EWL today since 005/006 train has entered onto Eastbound track after leaving Bukit Batok station this morning. But I am not sure if 005/006 train will be running for afternoon and evening service.
