    • Hi guys, thinks maybe some of them have been to thailand before so I have some question to ask...

1)is it safe to tour in thailand now??

2)How is the climate there at may??

3)Any place of interest to recommend?

      Thanks in advance! Razz

yeah bangkok is pretty happening.. Chatuchak market and Patpong Night market are nice places to get some bargain stuff. MBK shopping centre too. Doubt you will be heading there to buy like real branded stuff eh ?

Food is great all around, i don't know about japanese food in thailand though. Road side hawkers are around but take caution when eating em, your stomach might not be used to unhygienic food.

Chiangmai is another place to visit... go google it. I rather chiangmai then the city of bangkok.

    • I believe most of the bad stuff happening in Thailand is in the south. I was in Phuket last month and things were fine. My mom is going to Bangkok this weekend, and she thinks it’s ok. My uncle lives there.

    • I personally think bangkok is over-rated ... but i highly recommend going off the beaten tracks to visit their national parks though ... some of them are truly stupendous .... like erawan in the west, famous for it's waterfalls, khao yai in the north east, khao lok, etc .... Razz
