      Hi, Just to check..

      I've received email to go down for interviews, but the course was my 3rd choice, if i'm lucky to get accepted.. will i still be able to enter the course i wanted as my 1st choice?

      Or was my 1st and 2nd choice rejected?

      This is how it usually works. Universities cant offer you  seats for all the courses you want to do. That way it would be unfair/difficult to offer seats for other people. So they give you the best possible option.

      eg. (say u apply for 4 course and the requirement is a percentage)
      You Score 78

      1st preference - 85
      2nd - 75
      3rd - 69
      4th - 60

      You cant get first preference, so the next best is 2nd. However they cant offer you 3rd and 4th. For some reason you wanted to choose the 3rd course you may have an option to wait for second round offers (unsure for u guys)

      So it's wise to check ur preferences
