hi guys i need some help~
as u all noe basic ECG lead is made up of 3 lead. left arm, right arm and left leg, forming the Einthoven's triangle, plus a right leg for grounding. so my qns is,
can the left leg and right leg replaces the left arm and right arm for ECG measurement? (assuming dat we are measuring a one lead ECG, which is only taking the left arm and right arm for ECG measurement, without right leg as reference)
thanks and hope to hear views on this~

i noe. cause my project is doing this and i have tested it on both thumb. and my project's ultimate aim is to get ECG waveform (one lead, so it is noisy) when the two electrode touches the two legs of the person, instead of the thumb.i have this qns because i noe right leg is always used as reference, but i wan to be sure if two legs can be used instead of two thumbs.
sigh, i hav been losing sleep because of this~
