      IF A GRC is lost at the May 7 General Election - and a Minister along with it - Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong does not plan to call a by-election to try and get him elected and back into government, he told the Lianhe Zaobao Chinese daily.

      'Elections are a serious thing,' he said in an interview published on Tuesday 'The voters have decided, and we will accept the voters' decision.'

      He added that voters, too, would have to live with the consequences of their choice to turf a Minister out.

      'There are no safety nets in real life. So it's best not to take the risk.'

      They were the ones who came up with GRC system to allow weak characters into parliament.

      They must reap what they sow.

      wonder, if tat apply to MBT?

      so they did not lose a GRC before, thre is always a first time n i believe he is referin to GCT

      Of course no by-election.

      Can't suka suka call for a by-election.

      Has to be an MP died

      or is hopelessly hopeless.

      He is pretty confident that one of his ministers may be ousted.

      What happened if he himself is being voted out ?

      Can the pap take out some of the good ministers and dont stand for election?

      Meaning whatever outcome, he/she still is a minister??

      Meaning that all ministers must be allocated to some grc or smc and be contested?

      Or certain ministers will not get involved with GE? Like Foreign minister?
