I did not take note of all.  The latest I know is chestnut in Singapore is called ma ti, in Taiwan is other chinese words.    That two chinese character is not easily remembered.

I would give the below translations myself, since I do not know all that are commonly accepted ones:

Baby fat - BB肥

Adam's apple - Normally's 喉結 but I like it to be 亞當的蘋果 or 阿丹蘋果

Ham sup - Can use actual Cantonese Characters 咸溼, if not i dunno liao

Yeh it's the closest thing to ham sup lol....any other variations? Sigh....one thing about sgpore is if you say.....他很猥亵， they will give u the "huh" look. Sometimes, use the words too qeem, they also dun understand. So really, here is not the place to improve one's mandarin on a daily basis.

I am really open to accept dialect usage being assimilated into mainstream Chinese Mandarin usage.

This is because, Chinese Mandarin had all along been absorbing large amounts of dialectal usage especially from the Wu dialects and also been absorbing large amounts of calques from Japanese.

Therefore, if 咸溼 (Cantonese: [Haam-11 Sap-5]) is popularly used in Singapore context, it can be absorbed into mainstream Chinese Mandarin and used alongside 猥褻。

So you will say 咸溼 in Mandarin or Canto? Sounds really out of this world if the former.....

Oh, have to say xiánshī in Mandarin Chinese lor.

        Just like in the past,  there wasn't such terms in Mandarin Chinese like eg. 十三點，尷尬，沙發，癟三，蠻 etc.

They were pronounced in the Wu dialects as zeh-se-ti ,  ke-ka,  so-fah,  pieh-se,  me  etc.

Mandarin Chinese took and borrowed the character forms only,   and used the corresponding Mandarin Chinese pronunciation shísāndiǎn, gān'gà, shāfa, biēsān, mán  etc.  to read them.

        Similarly,  in the past,  there wasn't such terms in Mandarin Chinese like eg. 時間，新聞，糖尿病，妊娠，俱樂部 etc.

They were pronounced in Japanese as  jikan ,  shimbun ,  tōnyōbyō ,  ninshin ,  kurabu  etc.

Mandarin Chinese took and borrowed the character forms only,  and used the corresponding Mandarin Chinese pronunciation shíjiān, xīnwén, tángniàobìng, rènshēn, jùlèbù  etc. to read them.
