The article only mentioned that a tsunami disaster may hit US but it never said the next one will hit US. It could hit Indonesian again or philippines or south america. So the next disaster may hit Singapore instead.

I'm not really sure of this idea, just a bit of recollection of my physics knowledge put into application.. Correct me if I'm wrong..
Is it possible for a wave to be countered by an identical wave but travelling in the opposite direction? Means that the mega tsunami is to be crashed head-on with an identical artificial wave. I am sure with the current technology, humans are able to devise such equipments to generate such powerful artificial waves. Or maybe create waves to lessen the strength of the tsunami.. I dunoe just some thoughts.. -
Waves superimposes, passes through one another. Tsunami when far from the shoreline are waving under the ocean...hard to spot by eye.
Also, it would take an a-bomb to create a countering Tsunami and the energy would be distributed in all directions concentric about the orgin of the explosion. I.e. it'll cause another man-made Tsunami to hit!!!! -

Earthquakes can happen in any part of the world. What makes the TS think the very next tsunami disaster will befall on US first? It might happen to philippines or Singapore first. -
