I am FED UP ! with those cat lovers who bring packets of food for those strays and leave them all over the place leaving an unsightly, unhygenic and disgusting mess all over the place ... with flies and rotting food lying about  ... would anyone want it right outside their homes ? ....

apparently i am not so please put ur accusations to someone else thanks. we clean up after feeding them.

and i have already taken in what i could thanks for reminding.

it is still an eye sore ... do you go around cleaning up their poop too after their meals get turned to cat turd ? ... like private cats and dogs owners ? ... or do you leave that to the bangla brigade ? ....

do you know how irritating is it to find stray cat poop all over your front porch and gates in the morning, and to listen to their incessant "call spring" mewing at night ? ...

or do you even suppose that people may be allergic to cat fur, and to have wild cats running rampant around the neighbourhood may be detrimental to the health of these people ? ... what about folks with asthma  ?... folks with allergies etc ? ....

spare a thought for these people too .... the neighbourhood belongs to the people living there, not to stray cats ...

oh please, HUMANS brings their house dogs downstairs, POOP and walk away. i've seen so many lo. HUMANS pee and shit behind carparks and blocks and we've seen those too.

u cant deny the fact that stray cats will and always will continue to co-exist in singapore. its already a culture. gosh. if u talk about alergies and diseases, even house cats/dogs will cause that. people die even without these animals' existence. don't bother arguing back seriously.

one more thing. we sterilised all the cats, they dun spring call anymore. have a heart man. their lives are not any cheaper than urs.

before Yang0923 and Fatum continue to flame each other, i think i should make a fair statment here:

If there are too many cats around, it is the right of pple to complain and get the AVA guys to take action.

If the cats arent making too much trouble or they did not "offend" you, then it is good for us not to disturb them by NOT calling the AVA guys.

hmm....yeah....actually infront of my house also i normally put container for cat food......my dad hates it and tell me that he will report to town council etc......bloody fuck father.........the cats normally would come my house and meow a few times......got one of them like come on our house and eat inside rather than share the food with the cats outside.......then she would meow for food and when she wan go out of the house she will meow at us again..... ofcourse i do this without my dad's presence......i wished i could move out....the cats at my neighbourhood quite discipline though....they dun shit anywhere they want to.........

some are still escaped from being sterilised.

i guarantee u that all those 10 cats have been sterilised. all 10 that he filmed down. plus the rest as well. its just simple gesture and a small part for us to pay to get them sterilised. is it so hard for them just to leave them alone.

you must understand that quite a number of pple here are really irritated by cats that they wan to throw the cats out of the neighbourhood. It is not that they do not hav a heart or they are so called "lowly" but cats are not human afterall and they do not know how to think. Yes, a cat is a life, but too many of them will seriously spoil the whole living environment.

i do like cats too (my neighbourhood hav some very cute cats), but i agree tooo many of dem will really make u irritated.

thanks for ur comments realli.. some helpful soul has called town council and checked with pest control as well.. they will not kill the sterilised cats and have yet received any complaints thank god..

yeah ... but with those house dogs, you can go scold the owners and ask them to pick up their dog turd ... ditto the humans ... what about wild cats ? ... scold you people who bring them their food ? ... who'll be responsible ? ... just conveniently say, oh, the bangla brigades will take care of it ? ...... remember you're feeding those cats in a PUBLIC housing area ... the place doesn't belong to you alone, much less the cats ... and you wonder why people get pissed off ? ...

so ultimately, since no one can be held responsible but the cats, they have to be removed, right ? ... imagine battalions of stray cats and dogs and what not running around wild in the neighbourhood, pooping anywhere .... how ? .....

people who keep house animals have a choice, they know what they are getting into, but the strays belong to no one ... no one are given a choice to have them or not .... allergies or not, hygiene or not ...

excuse me but i have emphasised we have cleaned up after their food. and even if we dont feed them they will still find food themselves and shit.. we cant decide when they shit or not. but its more of those ppl that have brains and owns dogs who CHOOSE not to pick up dog poop who are the selfish ones realli.

and i've adopted one already and in the midst of spreading the word to get others adopted. that i dun need u to worry bout. definition of selfish is not being able to tolerate others and expecting everything to be done for u.
