hi all,
Usually u goes for job application rite? There is a column for u to state past employer and etc.
Do you really write down the last draw salary???
or stated confidential?
Some employer would give you the pay base on your last drawn salary instead of your experience right?
Or experience is different from job scope?
then put your own in lor .... so base 4k / mth
jus put inur last drawn amt lar ... who noes u might get a higher pay from ur new employers....
i think it works both ways?
some based on last drawn,
others..if u go research or already know wats e market rate..u put down ur asking salary as e market rate lor..and state (neg)
put 10k (Neg.)
or just write 'Industry standard'. First person that give a figure will lose advantage.
dcx put S$10k (Neg.) lol i like that one
sure 1st to reject me la...
alfagal > may be it work both ways? some employer tend to pay less on basic pay but allowance quite alot
so total gross is the same rite???
another thing is low basic pay + high allowance is better or?
high basic pay + little.low allowance
hmm my colluge said low basic pay + high allowance help you to evade tax is that right?
or income tax is counted as earning per yearly???
always put the truth... some companies do check...
if they discover you are lying, good luck
don't lie
interviews or anything similar, at most can twist analysis of facts, but once you lie, and if caught, jialat jialat
If you are looking for a job near the range your previous employer gives... then I see no harm giving. If not... either you get prepared for a salary cut or maybe no job at all.

Whenever I saw the job applications without stating availability & expected salary, I'll reject it even well qualified for the job and don't recomend to my HR Dept.
there is last drawn salary
and expected salary
so u can still put ur expected salary
but be prepared if they ask how come u asking for a big jump
