As above.
How many of you out here would actually use gender neutral pronouns to describe yourself or someone that you don' t know. Ze (or Sie) for He/She, and Hir for Him/Her, or other varients.
Would any of you prefer to degender society for the better by the use of these words? Rather to see people for people than for their gender.
so can I refer to you as .... it ? ... ![]()
no.... either it is a -ve connotation... either Ze/Sie or Hir....

haha, how sven is known in IOSS.
its meant to see people for people... not to treat them as some 3rd gender...
thats the point of this question. degendering others to see them for who they are as in character and personality. dump the gender.
cool, did you just learn that in german class ? ... ![]()
No.... this is older english
Originally english had gender neutral terms, then over time they removed them...
Just wanting to know if you guys would ever use them for more civil purposes (to avoid gendering ppl). Too many things in society are gendered anyway; best to keep a neutral stance.
wad's wrong with gendering people leh? offensive meh?
it plays a hand in gender politics and gender victimisation.
I'm more with the case that "there are as many genders as there are people", and gendering people discriminates against them in a number of senses.
when u need to, just use "he/she" la..
for eg..
ok i need to employ a temp staff, he/she should be able to........
dunid to bring back the hir thingy mah..
i need to employ an assistant, the assistant must be able to.......
here the assistant substitute the he/she
but i tink he/she easy to use
I think the terms ze and hir much easier to use.

people who never heard of it might thought of it as a typo error.
Well. We'll have to educate them then?
can start writing letter to MOE...

ya i oso tot the TS type wrong just now why i nv see before.
IT IT IT !
He/she for someone I dun know, me for myself.
y nid to educate them..? if ppl can use the term 'he/she' and cancel out the gender discrimination ok le what..
Nope. Gender would be more specific, if not then "it" lor.
the term "it" has a -ve connotation
ze and hir are still more socially sound.
so instead of asking whether we would use gender neutral pronouns... u r asking us to conform to it lah
huh? wat do u mean?
I'm asking if you would use neutral gender neutral pronouns... not -ve ones...
Spare a thought for some people ya?
