  my friend went to eat at a foodcourt recently and she ordered one plate of char kway tiao.

  but

  when the food arrives, it comes in bigger portion, free soft drinks, one bowl of soup plus some other food. It was a treat from the food stall's chef.

  I am thinking "wow, it pays to be admired by somebody, esp from a cook!"

  LOL.
