I dont know if any of you watch Survivor like I do, But I've been hooked for the last few seasons. I just came across someone who has a list of the prizemoney given, so I'm pasting it here for everyone interested to have a look :)

10-$14,000
11-$12,000
12-$10,000
13-8,000
14-$6,000
15-4,000
16-$3,000 (third person voted out)
17-$2,000 (second person voted out)
18-$1,000 (first person voted out) -
why?

The interesting thing about the prize money is that it never change, except for a few special episodes.
Which means 1 mill is not what it's used to be.

Yeah, I didnt know either until I saw this post.
How cool is that? You get a "free" trip to some remote beautiful location, get to be on tv, and get paid money regardless of when you get kicked out.

the money should be included in their income tax rite? -
Btw they have a contract to hold too...
after the finish the shoot, they cant leak out which team won or they would have broke the contract and thus getting slammed with a fine or something like that. -
Like that so long u in Survivor got at least $1000... Not bad....

ya... the first survivor... i think is borneo... richard hatch or something like that... he didn't include it in his income tax and was jailed...
