If you play clash of clans...you would want to put your most protected building right in the middle of your defence protected by all your cannons and motar. Hmm..Istana or Oxley road would be a real good place to put the nuclear plants...protected by all the gurkhas.

Singapore should go for thorium nuclear power not uranium nuclear power. Its so much safer. Thorium nuclear power plants do not produce harmful radiation, operates at low pressure so it cant explode, does not have runaway reactions, produce only abit of low level waste. The best part is thorium is alot more energy dense and is cheaper and more abundant than uranium. It also cant be made into weapons and the technology is already in use in amercia, china and india.

nabey! build nuclare plants to risk those complaints. why not reclaim land better? i dnt see why moving our east coast park further out to sea will cause scoastal erosion? technology so advance now what spread of erosion cannot be contained?!

now they are considering go underground.   

how many underground area can they go? in fact our west coast ta the jurong island area  and east coast furtehr off shore lots of palce to reclaim. what coastal erosion?!

our flooding problems are not conatined. our traffic mrt breaking down, still wanna add more problme to bury use underground 30 storeys should mishap happen? then dont push for 6.9 mil population of fake singaporena identities lah!

What if the uranium gets stolen by terrorist? 

What if someone decided to plan a bomb on the nulcear plant? All we need is a fallout and we all will be forced to migrate. 

we got one storey below underpasses and shopping malls. they wanna go 30 storeys under. now terrorist and criminals got a new easy target alreayd. it will be very easy touse little bomb material to create a disater. one level up bomb can bury the whote 30 storeys under. please lah our civil defence even ready for this type of new disasters or not? until all our civil defence peoplea re trained and ready, from countries that have build structures like tehse and have encounter such disasters before on damge control and efficient rescue - dont come out with finniers ideas to supoprt the white paper lah. see how poor manaemne gahmen is - ne disaters suggesitons leads to another, just so that tehy can earn more bucks from headcounts!

They built numerous nuclear reactors underground which failed, causing a gigantic nuclear explosion that made the surface cave in and water flooding in.
