Nothing of that sort. Naturally, they wanted to renumber them to 93x, but the renumbering exercise in Bukit Batok caused "great confusion" for the residents such that similar plans for Choa Chu Kang was scrapped.

I rather they keep the UDs and improve the frequencies instead of retiring them early. Service 187 has been one of such services which got the frequency boost thanks to the spare UDs until recently when their slots got replaced by the new-to-WLDEP CAC Mercs instead. The frequency for Saturdays is fantastic for a SMRT service.

They are probably trying to group buses with the same regos together in one depot, just like what they were trying to do during the first round of the previous major redeployments. Which might explain TIB771R joining 772, 773, 775, 776, 777, 778, 779 in AMDEP. TIB774H might just follow suit, now that 307's fleet is unstable...

And despite the buses reaching Fullerton at 8.45am, they still dont wanna change the timetable heh.

It may seem like I'm making a fuss but the only rationale I am posting my views here is because the very subject I am trying to highlight took place at the start of this thread. All that needs to be highlighted have been said and I hope the relevant individuals will realise this need for change, as much as they want others to change.
