my forte is sec 3 ,sec 4 ,but i was turned down by parents who heard that I have average B grade for the O level ?

now does grades = ability to teach ?

I know of top student who cannot even explain concepts well on electronics and refused to share ,so pedagogical is a science and not a Art right ?

sometimes we do have question we are stuck and need to see in a different light on the p6 question .

We live within  our ability ,not being superman to be the best of the best of the best.

If you are a tutor, I don't see any reason why you continue to tutor, yet cannot do the questions...

I do not lie I am a diploma holder and do not have a degree, I am totally ethical about my professionalism.

I believe everyone at times will be stuck at questions and need a proper explanation to the student.

I do not understand why you labelled me as other unethical tutor who just browse through txtbook when parents not around ,lying about qualificaitions and charges exorbitantly .

I have a sick mother with stroke and I am totally passionate about tuition .

在内道中，如何建立因果是一个很重要的问题，以前我讲中观时也提过，有部宗认为业因果依靠不失坏法而存在，经部宗认为依靠心相续得以成立，唯识宗认为依靠阿赖耶才能安立，尽管有各种说法，但都认为胜义中有一个堪忍实体。中观宗并不承认这一点，但也不抹杀因果在名言中的无欺显现。

There's the difference between your tutor and myself. With me (ie. if I was your tutor), it would surely serve you well to be ethical and frank. You see, on a case-by-case basis, if you've proven yourself sincere, trustworthy and ethical, an agreement could be worked out between us (should you tell me that you may not have enough money at the moment to pay).

 

You could sign for a 'loan', meaning you owe me the tuition fees. (Again I stress this is a case-by-case basis, as with all bank loans. Most importantly, you must be responsible, trustworthy and ethical). I currently have a student who owes me approximately $20K (for years of 'loaned' tuition fees, plus other stuff he bought off me such as computer hardware). The loan is interest-free.

 

And if you're worried about the financial burden of owing others money, especially at a young age in which you as a student are not working and hence do not have a steady income), you can make other arrangements with myself to work off your debt (as a tutor, I require advertisement services, eg. handing out of flyers). (FYI : the guy who owed me 20k has already worked off several Ks off his debt, by putting the effort of organizing and paying other people to distribute my flyers, over the years).

 

 

Bottomline response to your "I'm a honest guy from a poor family and I lose out to rich students because I can't afford tuition" being : if you're a willing, ethical, responsible student who has the fortune of meeting a willing, ethical, helpful tutor, there can be potential for an ethical (ie. mutually beneficial) arrangement to be worked out. In other words, if you're from a poor family but are ethically responsible and (thus) willing to work off your debt, you can still get helpful tuition to support your (efforts in) obtaining desired academic qualifications, which in turn means you can still get help and support to break through the vicious cycle of poverty and make good.
