    • I guess Poly will be a better choice for u..

Yes, Poly is kinda slack(usually) but must see which course are you in 1st..

both JC n Poly has its pros n cons..

if you’re intending not to go Uni, Poly would be a better choice..
as end of the day, a Diploma is always better then an “A” level paper(no offense)..

of cos after u grad frm Poly u still can go Uni, be it private/govt ones..

n if u have ardy intended to go local Uni, i guess u go JC better..

      my 2cents..

    • NORWICH have snapped up Spanish left-back Javier Garrido from Lazio on a season-long loan.

The former Manchester City player will become manager Chris Hughton’s fifth summer signing subject to international clearance.

The Canaries also have the option to extend the deal for the 27-year-old who made 49 appearances in a three-year spell with Premier League champions City.

Hughton said: “I’m absolutely delighted to be bringing in somebody of Javier’s quality.

“It gives us real competition in the squad, and for me an important factor was the fact that he has played in the Premier League before.

“He has played in La Liga, Serie A, and the Premier League, so he is a player of real experience.”

    • SWANSEA’S Scott Sinclair has refused to sign a new deal.

And that has put Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini on red alert.

Mancini is keen on signing winger Sinclair, 23, who is also wanted by Spurs and Liverpool.

Sinclair has 11 months left on his deal but could go for around £5million before August 31.

Swans boss Michael Laudrup said: “Scott won’t sign a new contract.

“But there is interest from a big club. City’s name keeps coming up.”

    • BRENDAN RODGERS has further strengthened his squad after landing £2.8million Moroccan flier Oussama Assaidi.

The Kop boss snatched the Heerenveen winger, 24, from under the nose of Ajax, and he oins Fabio Borini and Joe Allen as the Reds’ summer arrivals.

Assaidi was all set to join the Dutch champions, but then Rodgers moved in for a man he was monitoring during his days as Swansea chief, and the player had a dramatic change of heart.

The Anfield gaffer is determined to add more options out wide, and moved for Assaidi after Cristian Tello chose to fight for a place at Barcelona ahead of a move to Merseyside.

Now the Moroccan international can look forward to a £1million-a-year contract, a huge rise from his current £7,000 a week, and the chance to play a key role in Rodgers’ Red revolution.

He was available for such a knockdown fee as he has just 12 months left on his contract, while his wages are further proof of Rodgers’ determination to pay realistic money, rather than the sky high contracts bandied about in recent seasons.

Liverpool hope to make it a double swoop by the end of the weekend, as they are confident of landing Real Madrid midfielder Nuri Sahin on a season’s loan.

Arsenal are still fighting to take the Turkish international to the Emirates, but Rodgers hopes his relationship with Jose Mourinho from their Chelsea days will swing things his way.

    • ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS has pulled out of moves for Joao Moutinho and Yann M’Vila.

The Tottenham boss is expected to lose midfielder Luka Modric to Real Madrid this month.

But he admits Porto ace Moutinho and Rennes’ M’Vila will not be heading to White Hart Lane.

AVB took Moutinho to his old club Porto but he said: “It will be very difficult to sign him.

“I have experience of Porto and it is a club that sells good products but they are expensive.

“It has been like that with numerous amounts of players and that is why it is very difficult.”

France midfielder M’Vila is also unlikely to sign.

Villas-Boas added: “He is an interesting player but I don’t think he will join Tottenham.

“The player is a player of defensive characteristics.

“We had initial interest in M’Vila but we have moved on from that one and are now looking for a more creative player.”

Villas-Boas has been left with just one recognised striker — England star Jermain Defoe — heading into the season.

He was planning to add Emmanuel Adebayor to his squad from Manchester City but the former loanee’s financial demands are scuppering a deal.

Villas-Boas, who takes Tottenham to Newcastle tomorrow, said: “We are trying to be more sensible.

“I think the chairman is in contact with the player regularly and Manchester City.

“There is no news. Everyone knows the chairman likes to keep things on a reasonable level in terms of what we spend. He has been very sensitive on that.”

    • ARSENAL were last night set to cave in and strike a deal with Manchester United for Robin van Persie.

They are ready to start serious talks with United boss Alex Ferguson hoping to seal a £22million move before the weekend’s Premier League opener.

United and Italian giants Juventus have yet to improve offers of £15m.

But Van Persie, 29, was jeered by his own fans in Sunday’s win over Cologne in Germany and is now desperate for a move to be completed.

United see that as the opening to force through a deal.

Arsenal were demanding £25m for the Dutch striker, who has just one year left on his contract.

But the club will now settle for less — rather than have a player on their books who does not want to be there and could become a hate figure for the fans.

RVP scored 37 goals in all competitions last term, 30 of them in the Premier League.

    • ARSENAL are leading a four-way chase for Celtic’s Olympic hero Ki Sung-Yueng.

Atletico Madrid, QPR and Fulham are all in the hunt for the South Korea midfielder — making their interest known to Parkhead powerbrokers.

SunSport can reveal Hoops chiefs are now anticipating a concrete £8.5million offer from Gunners boss Arsene Wenger.

It’s understood Emirates chief scout Steve Rowley has the playmaker at the top of his list of targets.

Ki was outstanding for his country at the London Games, netting the winning penalty that knocked Team GB out as South Korea won bronze.

His hugely impressive performances have only increased the prospect of the 23-year-old leaving Parkhead this summer.

Neil Lennon is in no hurry to sell any of his first-team stars — especially ahead of next week’s Champions League qualifier with Swedish outfit Helsingborgs.

It’s unlikely any deal will be done before then but Lennon accepts letting Ki go at a hefty profit would be good business.

Celts paid out just £2m for him to FC Seoul three years ago and now stand to rake in around FOUR TIMES that amount.

Meanwhile, Celts kid Dylan McGeouch says he has no idea what happened to him when he was knocked out in the friendly clash with Real Madrid in Philadelphia.

The 19-year-old, who’ll need surgery to fix a jaw broken in a collision with Nuri Sahan, said: “I didn’t know anything about it.

“The first thing I knew I was coming round and was surrounded by a lot of medical people.”

    • previously i read frm somewhere tat during his initial time @ Inter,

he requested all photos of Jose on the walls to be removed.

n i guess he will request the same old tink again if he were to take charge of Chelsea.

i still dun tink his standard is on-par with Jose(even though im a Reds fan).

As he is too inflexible with his tactics.

    • I guess RH has to tinker his formation..

most importantly, playing Toress as a lone striker is realli a tough job for him..he realli nids sum1 to play alongside wif him..

matches after matches, we can clearly see how Pools opponents' tackle on Pools main sources of goals..
its simple, man-mark both Torres & Gerrard..
and the rest of the 8 players(excluding GK) will be like headless chickens running all over the pitch..

compared to afew seasons back, when they still have both Alonso & Benayoun(most recently left)..
they have more options in terms of creativity..

lastly, by sacking RH rite away, i guess it will just add more fuel to the fire..
as he's consider unlucky to be made the Gaffer when Pool are ardy in a bad shape..
i tink he nids more time to prove sumtink he's capable of, hopefully he does..
