PM me if you need any help or feel like chatting when your homesickness gets unbearable. I understand how it's like as I was once an overseas student too. Take care!

I moved to Melbourne about 2.5 years ago and the first year and a half was extremely, extremely tough for me and I got very homesick at times too.
How long do you have to be in Australia for? Are you here for studies? I hope you have friends who can identify with your homesickness over here.
Most Singaporeans who have migrated here do feel homesick and depressed for the first year or so before they eventually settle in. Afterall, Singapore is more vibrant and cosmopolitan but Australia has its own beauty too.

I hope you'll soon feel more settled. I can bring you around a bit if you are in Melbourne.
Yeah...i'm currently in Sydney...i'll be here for 2 years for studies =) yeah i really hope so too....so far there are some Singaporeans who are in my course...so i'm pretty ok...but still i miss home =((
I'm learning to get more settled hopefully in time i won't feel this way...thank you for your advice =) i'll let you know if i'm heading to Melbourne hehe =))
