A 14 year old boy died on Thursday, November 11th, after having received 85 lashes; according to the ruling of the Mullah judge of the public circuit court in the town of Sanandadj he was guilty of breaking his fast during the month of Ramadan.

When you read of such tragic news from Third World countries, try to understand that the local customs infused with religious justifications should not be universally applied.

hard to explain to non-muslim's why things happen as they are....
especially in the middle east....
even i don't understand why things happen as they are sometimes....
I'm just happy to be in Singapore....
most of the time when a muslim explains why things happen as they are....
he'd/she'd be ridiculed....
anywaes...proud to say that i am religious to a point...nobody is perfect....
Its hard to make people understand certain things.....
