Chinese nationals: should we tighten restrictions?

The recent Huang Na case has opened a can of worms where Chinese nationals are concerned.
In the light of the easy availability of forged travel documents in China, I feel that we should reverse our current policy of going out to woo them. Rather, more strict controls are needed.
What do you guys think? -

Strangely , i have noticed that alot of NTU pple are from China..
Problem is ...those pple might bring their CCP party ideals here...

Why is the PAP importing Chinese nationals? It is not about trying to increase the number of ethnic Chinese majority. It is all about money. China people have become a valuable source of income.
For example if china students stop coming to S'pore, schools like Stansfield, informatics will probably close shop. Malaysian universities will be more than happy to accept them since nowadays small towns in Malaysia are booming due to an influx of Chinese students.
If China tourists stop coming to Singapore, our tourism industry will sink into oblivion since nowadays it is not ang moh tourists but China tourists who bring in the most bucks.
Our real estate property market is not doing so well these years and Chinese nationals are now the third largest buyer/investor of private properties in Spore.
PAP will definitely not want to tighthen restrictions on them. -

I think they should.
I heard somewhere that the number of China whores are increasing in Geylang. They're brazen, and openly approach men. Imagine that!
I heard from my friend in Hongkong, that HK is no longer a nice place to be. Why?
That's because poor China nationals have been going to HK and the crime rate has increased tremendously.
While it is good for the economy, because the chinese buy and spend a lot, the people who are here to stay are not quite the same.
I wouldn't want SG to become like that in the future, so yes, i agree that restrictions should be tightened. -

If increasing crime rate is the reason to tighthen restrictions then China will do the same thing bcos nowadays there seem to be a trend of Singaporeans committing crimes in China. here's what I mean:

For Taiwan, they wanted to flee the communist rule and fled to Taiwan to setup their base there, you remember Chiang Kai Sek from your history books?

What i'm saying is.
China, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore.
We were once the same.
We are not the same anymore.
Is that not true?
Especially in our case, our cultures and such have all changed, we don't even speak chinese anymore, we speak singlish~ -

just like the whites in europe...come from central asia..

original americans were the mohawk and apache tribes..
Korea actually came from before 600 AD, some pple went there and create an independent state called Korguyo and another independent language ..
Anyway, If u check history books, China did attempt to invade japan last time..

I think we should tighten restrictions on graduates returning back from WA too.
