M&M is supposed to be the Boss of all ministers.
However, he make a weird statement of letting the young ministers make the decision for setting up the Casino.
He cannot make that decision, who can ??
It is a good excuse for him if the Casino screw up the Singaporean lifes later.
Cos he is not involved. -

I remember Lou Goh say that he will be the "second man" after young Lee succeeded PM post,but i believe that is all bullsh*t one lar!Once young Lee become PM,it will be "game over" for Lou Goh already!Becoz if talk about post,Lou Goh is not higher than young Lee,if talk about senior,he cannot over take Lou Lee,so basically he is like the "meat" in between the sandwich,he eventually get "stuck" in the middle n get "toyed" around by the Lee family!Now the result is clear what,after young Lee succeeded PM post,Lou Lee immediately closed the other TV channels which Lou Goh refuse to close it during his reign.He also push Lou Goh aside n do much more talking then ever n Lou Goh was remain silence for quite long time already.Ai yar,Lou Goh thought he can deal with the Lee family "single-handedly",but he is no match for the Lou Lee one lar!

If no MM fighting for singpapore decades ago, what will spore be like today?
A country without any natural resources, not enough water, getting thread from communist, from attack from Indonesia and the threat of eaten up by malaysia, under pressure by other big country around.
No one will help and pity spore as there is no resources to reap profit.
Only Israel did, provide military asssistant decades ago where other dont.
There was a time where m'sia federal government have station an army in johor planning to attack spore, so does Indonesia. Who help solve all these problem and takes spore to what it has today?

Last time, PM is the post that is most respected.
Then, SM came along and cast a shadow on PM.
Now, MM and SM overshadow PM.
Looks like our PM want to be boss also no chance. Got position but no power is like a dog whose bark is thunderous but has no teeth. Can those higher up please retire graciously so that we can see how our PM perform? -

I find it quite ridiculous about our government. It's true that LKY made a very significant contribution to singapore--no doubt about that. But when he stepped down as PM long time ago, he should have stepped out of the picture, but for whatever reason, a new post called SM (lewd huh) was created for him. Then GCT stepped down as PM, GCT became SM and LKY is now the MM.
Now ask yourself, do you see other countries with such weird positions???

Basically, these people are wasting tax-payer money... Consider their monthly wages? Is this democratic or communist country??? I'm starting to have doubts with the government systems. Seems like our Lee family is trying hard to make themselves as a royal family, but let me tell you that even the England royal family have to come down from power one day... Singapore needs to have a revolution sooner or later and i'm actually predicting it will come...

Wow, it's easy to say anything since you're all the way in NZ. But i would prefer a revolution to come sooner rather than later. The problem is: Singaporeans are too afraid of political changes. But Singapore case is different,our country has reach a maturity stage that a political reform is a "must".Secondly,our army lives close with the public n we are just a tiny island without any other provinces.That is why i think if a revolution do occur,the army will join in the side of the public. -
