Well, in 2003 there were 21,962 women, and 23,198 women in 2002, to prove that your "typical" list above is bunkum. Go do your research - it took me three minutes to dig these statistics up from Singstat. Shouldn't take you more than a week.Originally posted by Gazelle:here is my example of a typical sg women: -
10 to 15 yr old - develop puppy love
16 to 20 yr old - develop true love (e.g. willing to die for bf)
20 to 25 yr old - become independent and care less about love (this is the time where most sg gers will dump their school time bf)
26 to 30 yr old - start appreciating the 5Cs and $$$ become their true love (gers at this age will start to develop high expectation for Mr. Right and this is the point where most gers will make BIG mistake and some might get married for the wrong reason)
31 to 35 yr old - If they are still single, this is where they get desperate as time is running out for them to have children,
36 to 40 yr old - give up hope finding a husband
41 to 45 yr old - start feeling lonely as most close friends will be spending time with their own family
46 to 50 yr old - loneliness kicks in and start regreting why they didnt have a family
51 to 65 yr old - If you are not successful being a career women, you are likely to age fast and die alone. (Btw if you dont know, people who live alone are likely to die younger)
Thanks really ought to go to Gazelle - he's the one providing all the material!Originally posted by elindra:Ged, you are really hilarious.![]()

he's willingly made himself the butt of jokes here by volunteering to expose that gazelle brain of his under the microscope, for all to point at and laugh.Originally posted by Gedanken:Thanks really ought to go to Gazelle - he's the one providing all the material!
Don't forget that in the process, he's demonstrated the charming boorishness that has sent doctors, models and SPGs alike screaming in terror.Originally posted by foxwalk:he's willingly made himself the butt of jokes here by volunteering to expose that gazelle brain of his under the microscope, for all to point at and laugh.
Personally, I'd propose, "Never argue with an idiot; he'll drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience".Originally posted by foxwalk:oh yes and i wish to quote sub_zero's siggy. it is a tribute to gazelle:
"If you must argue, remember that it is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument."
There, there, Rhonda, don't go teasing the kid in the big yellow bus - he isn't different, he's just .... special.Originally posted by Rhonda:My oh my, so now, we're progressing on to a Primary School Science Class except, instead of discussing 'The Life Cycle of a Butterfly', we're now talking about 'The Life Cycle of the Typical SG girl'!! And there is actually someone with the audacity to assume that he understands the mindsets of the entire female population in Singapore!!! We'd better vote this guy as our next PM because he sure has his fingers on the pulse of the nation!!!
Here, step on the soapbox, Mr Rudolph's cousin, but be careful you don't fall off lest the typical sg ambulance comes to bring you to the typical sg hospital to be tended to by our typical sg doctors and nursing staff. Oh my, the world is so typical, even the cerebrally-challenged find it easy to eschew great sociological issues. Typical sg world we live in.![]()

You will probably find this as a joke when you are still young, but trust me, there are so many sg women out there that have given up hope on having children because they cant. Didnt you read that there are rising number of miscarriage despite falling birth rate? Why so?Originally posted by Gedanken:Well, in 2003 there were 21,962 women, and 23,198 women in 2002, to prove that your "typical" list above is bunkum. Here's a more realistic progression of events:
Gazelle's first post - a list of complaints ludicrous enough to make a 70's Palestinean hijacker sound perfectly reasonable
Gazelle's second post - Gazelle really gets a case of foot-in-mouth disease by trying to brag on the basis of a series of unfounded claims, in the process achieving the impossible by making himself sound even dumber than he did in his first post
Gazelle's third post - Gazelle attempts to do a Richard Attenborough with a documentation of the Singaporean woman's experience, based on neither personal experience of being a woman (despite the uh, ethereal, nature of the nom de plume Gazelle) nor any reference that can be cited. The two girls Gazelle chucked rocks at in kindergarten do not count as a sample.
Oh my, oh my, Gazelle, what's your next trick going to be? Come on, everybody, let's hear it for Gazelle, SGForums' answer to Evel Knievel!

I hope you could just take a look at the statistic again.Originally posted by Gedanken:Well, in 2003 there were 21,962 women, and 23,198 women in 2002, to prove that your "typical" list above is bunkum. Honestly speaking, I am proud to marry to my wife because I wont be who I am today without her. 4 years ago, I was jobless when I was doing my post grad studies, today (I am 30 btw), I have a 5 figure monthly salary, my condo, my continental car, my lovely wife, my dog and my exciting job that allows me to travel round the world. (actually I am in paris right now and i am with my lovely wife)Originally posted by foxwalk:anyway, kudos to reyes and gazelle on being able to bag a wife from overseas. my point is, esp to gazelle, heartiest congrats.
but it's wrong to shoot all just because of your experiences. and i wonder what kind of narcisstic person points the blame at the "countless" women he's dated, but never at himself. it's even more wrong to attempt to describe all sg women's life cycles. the fact tt u r doing tt shows how condescending u r.
anyway, i'm glad ur wife took u, gazelle. she ridded us of a boorish sg man (who's out to tarnish the rest of the population with his incessant bull).
Read it yourself lah women, dont always expect the man to read it for you.Originally posted by foxwalk:anyway, your point is you've got no point. point taken.
