Let's cease being a child, and stop throwing tantrums whenever things don't go our way.

By resorting to this, (nothing integrated hehe) in a way it is an admission, that the economy is in dire straits and they have quite frankly run out of ideas.

I think NTUC should start a moneylending cooperative soon. Any loan sharks who want to go legit can register with them.Originally posted by Gordonator:anyone fancy opening a loan shark centre er... i mean bank near the casinos.![]()
Well, the behaviour of some of the forum contributors here certainly indicate that they won't accept a democratic Singapore, if it means that certain things won't go their way. However, I agree that Singapore is more or less a Republican style of governance.Originally posted by pikamaster:haha.... when, even in pple's dreams, was SG is democracy???

10000 jobs might not be a big deal.. but if u look at the bigger picture, creating the buzz & vibrancy will definitely draw more tourists in, whether they are here for the casino or not..Originally posted by Joshua1975:like i say b4 somewhere in this topic, it will not be 1 casino and today they say 2.
hey who really want to set up a casino in sentosa.
the show just started...
"NTUC's Secretary-General estimates that up to 10,000 jobs could be created if Singapore builds two casinos." -CNA.
btw 10000 jobs of what kind??? 10000 of jobs from the 2 casino is not alot...
NTUC chief can go eat shit. PSA case he flop, SIA case he flop. HDB case he flop again??? well we sure have a "strong" union.
