i think all is bery clear in all these posts.......Originally posted by Poopie-Head:well, dont come lecturing me on 'cant take opinions and common sense' when u are the one who started calling names.
simple discussion like this u also call people whining. haiz.
is this the mentality of our SG girls here? Not willing to contribute one little bit to our nation? Calling people whiners when we are all in a discussion?
it seems like u dont seem to be able to take my opinions too. u are always welcomed not to participate in this discussion and not waste ur precious time since u think we are 'whining' anyway.![]()
i'm sure we can do with more medical and logistical support. This can free up more men for combat roles or other support roles. since all the men will be conscripted, that leaves the women and they can add on to a considerable increase in manpower.Originally posted by FireIce:show me the stats tt say we have insufficient medical support
i dun understand why u keep having this concept
wat makes u think we have insufficient medical support and oni ladies can and shd be the ones in charge of this during war?
wats ur vocation in NS?
hhaahah, u wanna talk about other posts, look at ur own. your one-liners arent too convincing either.Originally posted by FireIce:i think all is bery clear in all these posts.......

In world warr II, women are in the front line, army training are in place for women in Isereal and M'sia.... does that make then less of a women?? I dun think so

it is clear now that some girls are very very resistant to the idea of helping out in times of crisis, esp in a more pro-active way. Even in peaceful times, they are reluctant to take up some responsibilities that they might be needed in times of emergency.
I hope this applies to some girls ONLY.
i believe there was a recent test on male\female soldiers, i don't remember what the test was about , but it involves a 20km march and the results of the find was men are more suitable for frontline combatOriginally posted by Poopie-Head:oldbreadstinks >> Physically weaker? Some women are stronger than most of the guys here, its just that most women dont train physically (not that they should). Combat wise, modern day war is not really fought using bare hands or muscles, ie we use guns.
judging from what i see so far, i honestly believe more likely ,it would be the elderly mother dragging her full grown daughters rather then the other way roundOriginally posted by juz_A_gal:wow. so many replies liaoz. oops. missed lots bah?
anyway, the female population taking care of the elderly and kids already need quite a chunk. taking care would mean shelter, food, water, health, etc liaoz.
those pple giving out water, food and providing health care also needed. maybe females can help out with the communications portion too? i'm not sure wat goes on in war, so i'm just thinking aloud based on movies and crisis that have happened and been broadcast on media.
and i really think my bf would prefer making sure he defends the frontline, while i grab my family and run, while the enemy is being held up.
my thoughts. heehee..

Men and women are made differently, otherwise why do women give birth and men don't? Men and women complement each other.
Fighting in the frontline is not the only pro-active way of helping the country in times of crisis. Taking care of the home, the young and aged is equally impt. I also know of at least one lady, wife of Chiang Kai Shek, who went to US to raise funds for her husband's party to fight agst the communist party. Back home we also have our heroine, Elizabeth Choy.
So, don't be jealous of us ok?
