Now... the family needs to sue Mindef!!!
In the first place, why on earth were they charged in a civillian court?Originally posted by Parka:Sad that this was brought to the main court and not the military court. Otherwise it would have been "Guilty until proven innocent".
the four are just scapegoats to cover the backside of othersOriginally posted by lwflee:Actually, i'm not sure that Mindef always wins. I think that this is a myth that Mindef and the Newspapers do not want to dispel for good reason. During my NS days, i have heard of ppl suing mindef for things like "unlawful imprisonment". However, i never did find out the outcome.
Anyone with access to a database like Lexis care to do a search on Mindef in Singapore case law?
Now, i am not against mindef per se, its just that in this case, it would appear just that Mindef be held accountable for what is, imo, a systematic failure on Mindef's part to ensure the safety of those under their charge; So many officiers have gone through the course through the years, so many high-ranking offciers have personally witnessed what is going on, so many courses have been held - that this failure to follow prescribed procedure has managed to slip under the nose of so many supposedly competent leaders and managers surely point to the fact that there is much wayanging gg on somewhere.
Mindef needs a lesson in accountability.
yah...dats why imprisonment is so light they scared too heavy they really spill the beans u see...Originally posted by crazy monkey:the four are just scapegoats to cover the backside of others
Hai... you see...we need to consult the professionals more often.
General Guidelines
- If you are going to play with bondage or spanking or resistance play or role-playing, it's often wise to establish a "safeword," which is a code word that means 'Stop, now, I'm serious.' This word should be something you won't forget and that won't come up in any other way. Many people use "Green-Yellow-Red:" Green means "everything's fine," Yellow means "Don't stop, but don't do anything harder than that," Red means "Stop everything right now."
