Whose interest was it in CSR? Whose attention on CSR is growing?
Corporations are going to places where costs are cheapest, where they can squeeze the most, ... they lay off when there are signs where profits are likely to be less,.....they close and move to places which are cheaper (leaving behind thousands jobless),.... contribution to society only if it suits their purpose.
All these are done in the name of globalization, higher return to shareholders, outsourcing, nothing is said about RESPONSIBILITY to the societies......and the government said nothing can be done...
