While everyone knows how to give individual views under "political" thread, there is also a need to recognise common goals and useful common views for independence or cohesivenss towards better solutions to 20 problems of autocracy.
So, while one may disagree with one another's view preferring to regard Jamie Han "not impressive" or "talks only", what Singapore needs most at this point of change or self-renewal is more people like Jamie who is prepared to speak out.
In my opinion, we are lucky to have citizens like Jamie who could show to the power that be that people want improvements and new solutions to problems. All should strive find more Jamie and support such persons and stay cool and interdependent as well.
Everyone will always try to be different - that is all right and a desired quality. All must also stay cool and conhesive and competitive without which they will be told off again and again to set up his own party to take on the governing power.
Common goals should be recognized even as each is trying to present views which offers another point of view.
Civil consciousness and active citizenry should be one such common goal.
