Anyone unhappy with your travel agencies?

hi ppl...i m a uni student studying a course involving ethics. Does anyone have any experiences with travel agencies or tour guides who "cheated" you, e.g. made u pay extra money when you are already overseas, or changed the travel plans drastically last minute?
