SCHOOL - any complain ???

yea talking abt bias treatment, the school really place more effort on the best 2 class, they get the better teachers,got piroity to go for JC Poly open hse...whereas other class dun have the chances.i remb hearing something that make me really mad with my SS teacher and i ended up arguing with her.Well this is the case.we are sec 3 and SS is a new subject to us...so everybody is not doing well.so we suggested to have extra lesson with the teacher aft school.U NOE wad she said? "oh....i noe ur SS is poor but class 4@ did not do up to expectation leh...they expect to be the best class u noe.so i will have extra lesson with them...and for ur class i will held it with other class togeter in the auditorium.i really buey song upon hearing this...my respect for that highly respected teacher really drop..

lets talk abt this 3.
like all cca uniform grps student will get 1 pts for 75% attentant each year.(expected to get this.)
1 pts for every rank attainted.
2 pts for special event(NDP etc)
1 or 2 pts for NYAA(national youth achievement award)
for me a segt in my cca 3 pts + NDP(2pts) + 4 years attentant + 1 pts class commitee
a total of 10 pts.for uniform grps every one will be promoted if u dun pon cca.
for sports...
same as other cca 75% attentant for 4 years will get u 4 pts..
but to gain more points u need to win competition which is not easy...
i think being the captain also will gain u pts...but only 1 person can be the captain right?
so most of my sports frend get usuallu 7 or 6 pts which is abt C5 or B4.
for club even worst...
u got less chances to u got no compeition...only club chairman will get u points but how many chairman can there be in oen club?so normally students frm club will get c6 c5 like dat even giving their best...
and if u want to choose a CCA for ur child choose a UG, ONLY UG PPLS get the chance to go for camps, advanture, oversea...other cca the most u get is a once a year bbq in school. -
ok last year national day speech.. the minster say everyone can go for Outward Bond School(a adventure camp).that was boo sht..only for those top school then every can go...in neighbourhood school only SELECTED UNIFORM GRPS and students leaders can go abt 7% of total sch pop.

and why our school didnt use OUR edusave?govt give us so much,but my sch didnt even use it!then now i finish sec sch liao how?waste of money.and why our exams cannot be paid by edusave?have to pay 400 dollar to take o lvl..whereas i cant touch the 1k+ in my edusave?!

my son with Teck Ghee Primary, so far no problems lah.. even so as my son is a junior tyrant. When he was in primary one.. he sent a book flying at this poor teacher cos she ignored him when he tried to call her.
Got a lot of phone calls from form teacher to discuss about son's improvement, mostly at night. Hubby went down to see principal a few times also.
Now son is Primary two, sitting just right in front of the teacher. Having two desk for his own cos he is super messy with his books.
I know my son well, hard to control and tolerate his nasty temper at times. Really appreciate the patience of all the teachers who was teaching him -
You are lucky the school didn't touch your edusave. My daughter was with this neighborhood school who want to excel in art. They were raising fund fot the new school. so they hold musical night and all students expect to pay for tickets to go. Even students participating in the concert and got no chance at all to see the musical got to pay... The school deduct from edusave even without the parents consent !!! This go on for two years until someone cannot tahan anymore, complain to press. There was a report but the school dismiss the whole episode as mistake on one of the staff for deducting without consent. MOE did not even bother to check on it.. The school got away scot free. Meanwhile my daughter edusave becomes zero.... NO offence to the better neighbourhood schools but I thank God that I never stepped foot in their hallways.Mission schools have been a big part of my upbringing and I seriosuly shake my head at the calculating ways the schools and society is inculcating in our youth, rat race being uppermost on their minds, and a lack of care and concern for their classmates.
Geez.If you have the money, please send your kids to an international school or send them to a mission school.
