Why those communist politicians have to speak so slow?

Why whenever those mainland China spokesman or ministers announce something important,they have to speak n then pause 2 or 3 sec,then continue n then pause for 2,3 sec again.Like recently a high ranked ministers talk on the unification policy regarding Taiwan issue which they have just pass thru in their parliament,a minister do the same thing,talk then pause awhile,then continue n pause again.
I mean what the hell are they doing?Do those ministers or spokesman in China thought they are some kind of actor or something like that?They are acting like a 5 yrs old kids,damn stupid!!!This show that in a socialist country,politicians always grow up mentally slower than their own countrymen. -

it's a paralinguistic technique when making announcement......
bush oso speak then pause, then continue, if u notice, so does other western leaders.....
even our own GCT during national day rally....
u notice their tone of voice too......sometimes high, somtimes low.....sometimes look at script, sometimes look at camera, sometimes look at audience....
presidents and ministers go thru lessons to learn these techniques
it's a way to capture attention and to create an impact....making the announcement sound serious..... -

To get on national TVs in front of 1.3 billion relishing every second of that. In Singapore TV time is worth S$200 per sec prime time. It's not the pauses that I find irritating. It's that they speak like bloody guniangs, with the high-pitched intonations and inflections. Are they like castrated or something?
Seriously though, any experienced speaker will tell you that pauses in speech are vital to convey important points across. It can be overdone. It takes an experienced person to master the pause in public speaking. -

well unlike english..every chinese word counts and diff pronounciation and pitch can totally change the meaning of a word. politicians have to make sure that every word they utter is relevant to the topic and made very comprehensible and clear to the public, its not like its a stupid rap competition.

But everytime when there are accidents occur,those communist government just put up a show to mobilise the soldiers or first aid ppl to help save the mineworkers,but they didnt really give a damn about raising the safety working condition of those mineworkers,this are no difference than "slaughtering" them.And also,in a communist or socialist country,the government lack efficiency when dealing with country matters due to the fact that they lack strong opposition parties to monitor them.Lack of competition=Lack of efficiency.Look at our government,many months have passed n our government still havent decided whether to build a casino or not,while i heard that Bintan are going to build a casino as well.......
Bottomline is,i dont like socialism n the way they manage things,full of flaws. -

The different between democracy and communist is democracy countries will push the blame to a small group of people,just like the case in Iraq torture of Iraqi prisoners,it is actually approved by the top lvl to torture them to get info but after expose.They push all the blame to small group of people and make them the scapegoat! While communist way of dealing is to say nothing or deny everything but continue to practise it! As they don't need to report or answer to their public. -

Oh,n there is another thing i wanted to mention.In a socialist or dictatorial country,there are alot of "xiao ren",this type of ppl although seem to be very loyal to their "boss".They can debate for their boss in the forum,the can bootlick their boss without any shame,but i can tell u all this,once their boss lose power or the country collapse,they will be the first to betray their boss.
