Facade that shines with

Policies and ideas stricken men

Not a word nor a breather

Lest be smitten,

Muffled by cries of inner souls,
Sullen men old and young
Accepted as fate
To pay a-double,
For Lands acquired with tax,
At market price deemed subsidised

For vehicles in COE, ERP after excise.
In surplus for rains that never come.
Election brimming with goodies,
Swiss standard of living a-promise,
All reocrds and worldly bests,
Dream high for soccer world cups.
Alas dreams stay dreams as crises
Came in quick succession,
True grit made of sterner stuff,
Growth Triangles fumbled,
Scholarly leaders fell in recessions,
Entrepreneurs and businesses went abegging
Assets deflated and grow no more
Burdened by costs skyhigh
Richly adorn scholars shrunk in comfort zone,
Unending calls more sacrifice,
Remaking and change to no end,
Only Fortunes knowth own plans,
Entrepreneurs and true talents,
Forsaken left high and dry
Soon replaced by Foreign hands,
Gladly received as talents,
Nay to dreams and misty dreams
Nay to 5 Cs and asset enhancement
Left the mortgages and weariness.
Good ideas and change for better days.
The rule of the day are glorious past,
And Self-admirations Good or feign
Mistakes well a part of life,
See no evil hear no evil
All beyond reproach or blame.
