Dec 26th 2004 , Got hit by Earthquake measuring 9.0 on the richter scale
Got hit by Another EarthQuake , barely a few weeks after they protested..
and burned our gates, they got hit by an earthquake
Are we going to send aid over and get another embassy "makeover" again?? Singaporeans are paying for them again
Within 10 years , they will give us another nice beautifying on our embassy again? Someone should record down the amount of good deeds we have done for the indonesians , from military aid of old equipments , to help pumping investments into riau and batam , east timor , aceh , troubled areas as peacekeepers , and donations of $22 millions during 1998 after they have murdered 5,000 ethnic chinese. Ok , now who's gonna donate $$ to indonesia next! i will be donating my fair share soon !!

I am going to pledge some of my money to help them.
The more singaporeans help , hope they will do a better job of damaging our embassy.
Oh yeah , i wonder why Jakarta cops and none of them were deployed
to protect our embassy.
After all , our embassy is worth only a little red dot. -

The money we donated for the first quake used finish already or not?

The money has definitely gone towards helping pay for the Indos and Malaysians to send warships to quarrel over disputed deserted islands.
Helping the Indonesians is especially a bloody waste of money. I am a taxpayer, I hate to see my hard-earned dollars go towards helping that Chinese-hating nation.
The only comfort I take is that the money was used to help the Acehnese, whom are no friends of the Indonesians. -

if we don't help them, we're the unfriendly neighbour who refuses to help even though we have money
if we do , they'll find an excuse to blame us with some other stuff
seriously, i'm begining to wonder why the tsunami didn't kill off more of them and make life easier for the rest of us -
At least we sent our 3 chinooks , next time they will send 3 warships and 4 F-16 to singapore straits..to quarrel over the island.

Any of our leaders ever suggested or thought of selling them Chinooks
so that they can fly to the devastated area and provide aid promptly
with their manpower and flying their own flags?
At the rate we're going, our Chinooks will burn out sooner than later
(and when a disaster strikes on our soil, the choppers are too depleted
to do anything useful).

You all know how I feel about Indonesia......but to be fair, allow me to point out that this time, the earthquake happen at Nias, an island populated by Christian batak people.
300 ethnic Chinese also died in Nias.........see the news footage in CNN.....the people crying were using joss sticks......these peolpe are innocent ..... -
I think the generous amt raised for tsunami should be enough to help the earthquake victims.
We must not forget the lesser known charities at home like Asisi Home who don't get enough publicity unlike NKF. Our govt need to take care of our sick, aged & jobless.
Besides the money given may end up in the pockets of the corrupted govt. officials. -

yeah i'm definitely not donating to the chinese hating country too. i rather donate to sri lanka where the people are more poor and more devastating places.

Singaporean mah ! think, themselves very rich. Then what happen ? Most of them living in a HDB and still own HDB money. What is that ? Everything not their ! Even car is the same. SO.......... what the point ?
