All the talk about inclusive (to appease the non-elite really), will it make the playing field level for elite and non-elite or it's just talk with some walk for show?
We have to see first:
1. The elite overtaking the non-elite in donations/volunteering to charities.
2. The elite and non-elite are given equal chances in getting their
children into good schools.
How to do that? Let's have a measuring elitism index ratio.
May I suggest we measure by how much they (elite and non-elite) earn, seek/spend, get (take away from society) vs how much they donate to charities (give back to society).

Most jobs and businesses in Singapore are created by non-elites. The elites mostly are employees and not creating jobs but are fond of claiming success or credits for success because of non-elites.
They are made to look important because of paper qualification. In a recession, elites would be keeping low-profile and looking for jobs.
Singaporeans depend on non-elites who are ordinary people with ideas and good in creating jobs and wellbeings for citizens. Entrepreneurs are what Singaporeans need for survival not more elitism. -

To all non-elites like me: earn as much as we can in Singapore, save as much as possible and invest wisely. Then cash out and go to a foreign nation where with our money, we can be become the elite there.

What is an Elite?
Does it mean that a person who is successful in business, makes an obscene amount of money, and owns several properties, is considered an Elite?
Must also such a person, an Elite, speak well and is/be a gracious person as well?
Should an Elite person be of local national or foreign?
Must then an Elite send his/her children to an Elite School? ANd only mix around with other Elite's children, and not mix with commoners?
Is an Elite person, accorded more preference and opportunities than commoners?
Are the Elites in Singapore, categorized as White Horses, or White Elephants, or even White @#$!? -
hmmm yes, how do we define an "elite" in the first place? I didn't pay attention to all that debate on this subject in the papers recently.
