  Bus fare in Malaysia goes up by 20% at 1 go... Even the Malaysian yellow buses running in Singapore will increase bus fare by $0.30 - $0.40 at 1 go. No changes to SBS fare for 160/ 170

  I think it depends,those region that are closer to Singapore like Johor,of coz the prices is going up faster.But the prices of items in northern Malaysia still considerable cheap compare to Singapore.

  Not really. Around K.L. also very expensive. Most expensive city in Malaysia is K.L. follow by Johor Bahru, then places around K.L. Places like Mersing, Segamat and Batu Pahat are still very cheap in terms of say food where you can still get RM2.50 for a plate of Char Kuay Tiao. Even in terms of Housing prices there, once you get out of J.B., it is possible to get a terrace for around RM90K.

  Unfortunately that's the case in every capitalist society. That's why so many young people are joining the PAP, even at the expense of their conscience.. in the hope that they'll one day break into the ranks of the elite, cross the rich-poor divide and be in possession of unimaginable riches..

  do u want to slogged 25 yrs for a dingy HDB flat..or rather u hve 3 houses to collect rental frm....in KL...one is a liability, one is a asset...u choose...

  Over here, best choice is not to buy a flat or car. And if you need a roof, go for rental or a 3-room flat. You don't really own a flat anyway, just a 99 year rental.
