Looking at all the protests around the world, there are to be some violence involved. I hope u know that in Japan itself, ethnic Chinese and Korean and their properties are frequently subjected to unprovoked death threats and attacks from Japanese nationalists. Why is it that the pm must visit the shrine of those war criminals? Why do they leave out mention of the atrocities committed in the past? Yes, the present generation cannot be blamed for the crimes of their forefathers BUT they cannot sweep aside the fact of their forefathers' inhumanity their depravity!

(1) claiming islands that belong to Koreas and China
(2) Re-writing their war crimes and atrocities in school textbooks,
After starting these two aggressive incidents, now peoples in these countries are not happy and taking to the streets. What is wrong with this protests. But instead of behaving civilly, the Japs continue to pursue aggressions by demanding apologies from the respective governments.
Forumers, just consider these acts in perspective and objectively, is the Japanese aggressive and trying to start war. Do we have to wait till they start a war again in the name of their emperor before knowing the fact. Think!!! If there is any gentlemen or thinking power in us, our next action will be to boycott their products e.g. stop buying Japanese cars or electronics. After all government may dislike anyone going to the street -

What the Americans are or are not thinking is speculative. What the Japanese mind is like is clearly seen in their acts as posted. Japanese people are not like you think so peaceful and full of manners. I don't know the actual closer or personal reasons or circumstances for your pro-Japanese stand. But I will not ask further as you may say what you like too.
Singaporeans have to understand what is going on in Japan and how it affects our national survival. Japanese people are very united inside. If you work in their companies you will see that unlike other foreign companies, Singaporeans will not be able to get promotion over their key men or women. That is another fact about Japanese. So it is not my imagination but fact that they are nationalistic and full of ambitions to expand or take over others.
We need them for certain economic or material benefits and some of us might be married to their people or working in their companies here in Singapore. But whatever the actual stands or reasons for saying pro-Japanese things, all will have to take political views as well and be matured.
We cannot let our self-preservation or survival instinct as Singaporeans go down as well. In a crunch the Japanese people for whom you are speaking may drop all pretences against us because we are a majority-Chinese country. All of us may become their target even if some of us may praise or speak for them because of associations or economic interests.
In order that we will be easily taken over or controlled by them due to their in-born aggressive instincts, I am giving an objective view to explain to all to be more aware. It is not my imagination. Surely the Japanese can defend their stand and do not need your special assistance to do so for them.
