Singapore seems to be opening up more and more, ever in the three years i have been here we have seen the bungee, bar top dancing etc, however i cant see that happening for a few years, or at least untill most of the 'old crew' of the government move on and are replaced by younger people
Whether young or old, PAP ministers have been doctrined to follow the conservative manner of doing things- which means their sense of fun will always be out of sync with the rest of the people and the rest of the world.
I can just draw out two things from the 100% white outfit that PAP usually wears to their party conferences- and also one from a fashion point of view:
1) They are boring.
2) They are a bunch of unfunny, unimaginative people.
And
3) Their fashion sense is zilch. They need newer ideas. All white is boring. Remember the all white that Liverpool players wore to the 96 FA Cup Final? That disaster was on par with the all white outfits of the PAP.
