  Agree with Robertteh...we need opposition parties to unite to form a single alliance that can stand in every seat contested. Just give Singaporeans one credible alternative in every seat. Have a proper manifesto that is well researched...have fact, figures, statistics to back up every promise. Be credible..

  Opposition parties do not have that kind of access or authority to do that. But that doesnt mean they cant do the same. You vote them in, they will have PAP's people sources to build up a strong party.

  More importantly, each candidate/team needs to put up a deposit which they stand to lose if they do not garner enough support! Each candidate will have to put up about $10 000 as a deposit! Which opposition party has so much money! This deposit + the GRC system probably explains why there are so many walkovers.
